Raw Bar

Have boat, will travel. We deliver Island Creek Oysters to the country’s best restaurants – and we’re happy to bring them to your event, too. The Island Creek Raw Bar is an interactive catering experience that can be tailored to suit any event, from rehearsal dinners and weddings to graduation parties, birthdays, and corporate functions. Our crew of oyster growers and experienced shuckers will set up the boat, fill it with ice, cover it with oysters, littlenecks and shrimp, and shuck and chat with guests in a casual, Island Creek kind of way for an unforgettable oyster experience.

What you can expect: Depending on the size and location of the event, we will provide the oyster shucking boat (a 6-foot, hollowed-out Dory boat), ice, supplies (knives, buckets, gloves, napkins, lemons), staff and product. The shuckers will shuck for the designated time, all the while educating guests on the oysters we grow and the landscape of Duxbury Bay.

Float Dinner

We consider ourselves some of the luckiest folks on the planet because of the treasure we have outside our backdoor: Duxbury Bay. We’d love to share a piece of it with you during an Island Creek Oyster Float Dinner. This rare and special opportunity will allow you to experience the beauty of Duxbury Bay with a multi-course meal directly on – and from — the water Read about it in Food & Wine magazine.

The Float can accommodate anywhere from 8 to 15 diners and is versatile enough to handle a small cocktail party or a seated, multi-course, family style meal. We will provide the space, the staff, the boats, and in many cases, the food, wine, and even the chef to prepare your meal. Take over the float for a night this summer to celebrate life in the most unforgettable way.

Please note: Just as it is on the farm itself, Island Creek Float Dinners are at the mercy of Mother Nature which means we can only host a handful of these each summer.
